Wheels of shame

Many stars seem to think that life is incomplete without a garage full of expensive metal. From footballers to film stars, and from rockers to rappers, it seems that no celebrity worth his or her salt can live without making an automotive statement. If it isn't Arnie with his Hummers, it's David Beckham with a car for each day of the week.

You'd think that with all that disposable cash, they'd just swan around in limos, and dispense with the hassle of actually owning a car. So where are the stars without cars?

The Toyota Prius has come along to green up the credibility of, among others, Gwyneth Paltrow, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeff Goldblum, Billy Crystal, and Harrison Ford. But where are the stars without cars? Who are the celebrities who have not only handed in their Ferraris for something a bit greener, but have made a conscious choice to be car-free. Can you name the celebs who have made a statement by giving up their car? (Having your licence taken away because you've been sent to rehab doesn't count!).
