How do Car Clubs work? Car clubs provide cars and vans for rent by the hour, day, week or month. Vehicles are parked in dedicated spaces. Some car clubs provide both cars and vans, which can be reserved online or by phone. Usage charges are based on how long you use the car, and how far you drive. They are usually more flexible than hiring a car from the usual suspects, and are very economical for short distances and for those quick trips around town that don't justify a whole day's car hire.
